ABOUT S*PURE

Our Extract Clean, Maxi Clean and Bioselect Product lines were introduced by Alltech Associates over 30 years ago,  later becoming part of Grace Discovery Sciences.

In 2016,  S*Pure acquired the SPE Product lines from Grace and to this day,  manufacture them to the same specifications,  following the same processes.

In recent years,  we’re introduced and expanded the SEClute brand and continue to add new medias and column configurations.

Our business has the flexibility to partner with Industry to produce new SPE variants to meet the market’s changing needs.

Our Cartridges are manufactured using Specialty Silica Gel from Industry Leaders.  Supported by a Team with more than 100 years of combined Separation knowledge and experience.

About

APPLICATIONS & INDUSTRIES

“Our SPE Cartridges and Media are used globally across a range of Applications and Industries,  if you have a specific Application in mind,  we’d love to hear from you.

SPE METHOD DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCT SELECTION

SPE method development typically contains four steps:

01

CONDITION

The conditioning step is composed of two substeps; the first activates the sorbent ligands, the second equilibrates the sorbent bed.

02

LOAD

03

WASH

In the wash step, choose a solvent that elutes impurities but retains target analytes. Often the second conditioning solvent is a suitable wash solvent.

In the load step, sample is applied to the SPE device. Matrix and flow rate are optimized to quantitatively retain target analytes.

04

ELUTE

The elution step ideally removes all target analytes with minimal solvent to maximize sensitivity. Sometimes this requires a combination of solvents to break both the primary and secondary interactions.
